Remote Key Fob Repair
Modern vehicles come with remote controls that can be used to lock, unlock, or start the vehicle. But, like all pieces of high-tech equipment, it can sometimes experience problems.
These are usually very easy to fix. It can be as simple as resetting the device and you should be able to accomplish by following the resetting instructions in your owner's manual.
Check the Battery
The battery of a key fob powers the remote control function. It's a tiny and affordable part that needs to be replaced frequently to ensure the fob's functionality. There are many other reasons your key fob may not be functioning, aside from the battery. Damage to the physical, exposure to water or internal component malfunction could be the reason. If your key fob's battery has stopped working, replace the battery.
Ensure you have the correct size battery. Nearly all modern key fobs use the standard CR2032 three-volt battery which is readily available in many stores. The majority of these batteries are stamped with the size on one of the fob's edges. A quick search for the name of your car's brand will help you identify the exact kind of battery that it uses.
Once you have the proper battery then carefully open your key fob, and then remove the battery. Take a photo of the inside of your fob to ensure that you put it back together correctly. Certain key fobs also come with a mechanical backup key known as an emergency blade. Check the Connections

They can determine the problem with a radio-frequency analyzer, a device which determines if your key fob transmits signals to the car's computer.
